Point of interest
Founded in 726, Novalesa is among Europe's oldest alpine monasteries, housing extraordinarily rare Carolingian frescoes and a precious manuscript collection. Its role as a Via Francigena waypoint in Val di Susa makes it both a spiritual destination and a window into medieval monastic life.
